A Newborn Baby Declared Dead Was Sent To The Morgue. 10 Hours Later…THIS Happened.
A newborn baby in Colombia was declared dead after premature her birth by caesarian section. Doctors couldn”t hear her heartbeat and sent her tiny body down to the morgue in a box. She stayed there for 10 hours. It wasn”t until a nurse attempted to return the body to the heartbroken family that the hospital realized they made the wrong call.
As hospital staff thought they were handing the baby”s corpse over to the grieving father, they were shocked. The infant was displaying signs of life.
The baby let out a soft cry and was rushed out of the morgue, she is now in intensive care.
The little girl now named Milagros (Miracles) was sent to the Santa Teresita del Nino Jesus clinic in the capital Bogota accompanied by her aunt Reyes Hinestroza. She is receiving treatment for her underdeveloped lungs in intensive care. Her mother is still in recovery.
Doctors say that a baby”s soft heartbeat at birth can lead them to believe the infant is dead… but a mistake like this is unfathomable.
