This Guy Was Browsing Google Street View. And He Found Something He’ll Never Forget.

Have you ever used Google Maps Street View? If so, then you know it”s fun to go through cities (both known and unknown) and see what was going on at the time the picture was taken.

Every now and then, you”ll stumble across a surprise like this lucky young man did. When bored, the Redditor would browse different streets around Oregon using Google Maps. His brother would do the same thing. It was a great way to explore towns they knew without needing to leave their living room.

One night, he and his brother made an incredible discovery. They were checking out a few neighborhoods when they spotted a person relaxing in front of her house: their grandma.

One of the most amazing things about this photo? Google took one of the last pictures of their grandma. She passed away less than a year after that photo was taken.

People showing up in Street View is pretty rare, yet these boys were treated to one final picture of their beloved grandmother. Family members and friends are precious gifts…treasure them before they”re gone.
