Love is a powerful thing… and it cannot ever be stopped. A teenage couple took a picture of themselves kissing outside of their school and Morocco, then were promptly arrested. For a KISS. The couple were cited for “public indecency” and are being held in jail, waiting to go to court. The government”s censorship is insane.
The two Moroccan teenagers were arrested for sharing a simple kiss outside of their school and taking a picture of it.
The arrest has lead to an online protest against Moroccos authoritarian Muslim regime. Protestors are using the hashtag #Nadorkiss.
Protesters gathered and staged a kiss-in. To show their solidarity with the teenagers, people kissed in public and showed their pictures online, even though people tried to stop them.
Now, the protesting is less about the kiss and MORE about the government oppressing its people.
